Yeah! Today I got my letter from the summer camp I applied for, I was accepted! This summer I will be going to French camp at Concordia Language Villages. French is such a pretty language. I love it. What language, if any, do you guys take? Is English your first language? Are you going to camp this summer? Do you like broccoli? lol. Just kidding on that last one. Bye.

mmm... good point. english is mah first lang. I want to learn French, Gaelic, and Japanese.
English is my first language. I took French for 4 years, but barely know anything ( I had pretty bad teachers). It's a difficult language to learn. Anyway when i went to France two summers ago I was completely lost and had to have my friends (who live in France and who speak both French and English perfectly) translate everything for me. :)
english is my first language, though i'm almost fluent in another. and i take spanish class in school.
and yes, i like broccoli.

does your school offer Gaelic? where would you take it? i really wanted to take latin, but my school doesn't have a latin program. that would really help with learning other languages.

sorry about the teachers. i really like mine, she makes it easy to learn. france sounds like so much fun! i can't wait 'til i go in 2 years with school.

i want to be fluent in french. they say, when you start dreaming in the other language, you are fairly fluent. hasn't happened yet. i love broccoli. and i can count to 10 in three different languages and to 3 in another.

i think that having parents that spoke another language than english would be so cool. what language do they speak? my step-dad's first language is Polish and he is the first generation from his family born in America. just wondering, how does it depend if you like broccoli or not?!?

that camp looks really nice.
and i speak english, of course. and i'm learning some other langugages in order to better communicate with the other peoples who live nearby. we might need to make alliances.
i don't know french. spanish is a lot more useful where i live, cuz there are a ton of spanish-speaking immigrants.
anywho, i can count to ten in english, spanish, hebrew, and persian. and i can count to 4 in chinese. if you'd like to learn, i'll gladly teach you.

i can count to ten in english, french, and spainish. and i can count to three in chinese. i thought about taking spainish but some day i think i want to move north, maybe even to canada. french would be much more useful in canada than spainish.
