Today I'm home sick. Not a fun thing at all. I had a fever of 102.6 last night and couldn't get to sleep. Right now I'm feeling much better than before. And it's raining outside. The rain always makes me smile a little brighter. Spring is the best season in my opinion. With the rain and flowers and lets not forget the best part, my birthday! Which season is your favorite? Bye.

i love all of the seasons, each for a different reason. they're all have a specific beauty in them.

i am NOT satisfied with that answer. lol. to me, that sounds like an easy way out of answering. you have to have a favorite. and if you don't, what is your favorite holiday? if you don't want to accidentally slip your religion, what is your favorite american holiday? you have to have some kind of actual answer.

why do i have to have a favorite season? each one is so beautiful:
spring. everything is fresh and new and green. spring reminds me of second chances. everything looks dead and lifeless, but i tmanages to push out of the earth, to be born anew.
summer. i love the hot weather. and i love going to the beach. there is such a beauty about the ocean that i can't put into words. and there is something about bare feet that i absolutely love. no idea why.
fall. have you ever been on the countryside in the autumn? it's STUNNING. and leaves crunching beneath my feet.... i love it.
winter. a lot of people don't like it, but i love the snow. the way it sparkles on the ground, and everything looks so white and pure. i love the way it crunches beneath my boots, and the feeling of snowflakes falling on my face. and the smell of winter- fresh and crisp and cool.
what can i say, i'm a nature lover through and through.
satisfied?

as for my favorite american holiday, i think i'll have to go with thanksgiving. i like the idea of acknowledging gratitude (as you can see from my blog).

well griffinrider, when you put it that way, i guess it's okay. as for my favorite american holiday, i would have to go with memorial day. it's a time of remembrance and respect for our nations heroes. and i also enjoy it because our neighborhood pool opens and we have a super fun party on opening day. i love our neighborhood and how we all do things together and are so close. and i have to admit, it's great for a babysitter. tons of kids.

and violet, any time. i can't wait to hear about those super powers.

bye guys.

in addition to thanksgiving, i love veteran's day. my grandfather is a veteran of WWII, so my family feels a special connection with this day.
