Fashion. It's the best and worst thing to happen all at the same time. In some ways, fashion is an amazing way to share what you want to be and who you are. It shows our unique personalities and views. But on the other hand, fashion is something that every one wants to do. Or to restate that, we want to be cool and fit in. To be like all the 'cool' people that were creative in the first place. This fact completely takes the originality out of 'fashion' and being your self, showing the world who YOU are. Not your neighbor or best friend. What do you guys think?
Have a swell day!

its so true, everyone just wears exactly the same thing these days not because they like it but because its what everyones wearing. I've really never gotten why its such a big deal, its just clothes.

i know, i just grab something and wear it. i dun really care what i wear as long as it's modest.

ha. fashion is one thing that i'm totally clueless with. this is my wardrobe: denim skirt, t-shirt, and a very old and very comofortable pair of sneakers. that's it. i couldn't care less about what's fashionable. i can't for the lie of me figure out if something "matches" or "clashes". you know, i'm glad i don't care about fashion, and i don't spend hours fixing my hair every time i pass a mirror. i feel bad saying this, cuz most of my friends are into fashion and all, but i find it very shallow. i rpobably shouldn't feel that way, but i do.

HEY! i feel the same way GR. why is it so important? we should wear what we feel and if we feel like we don't care what we wear, then wear anything! at least that's what i think. "Clothes tell about what kind of person you are" i see, so there are two kinds then. going with fashion and not. that's what i get from what clothes people wear. i feel comfortable around people who don't really care what they wear as long as it's modest

I totally agree. Fashion is both amazing and ridiculous.

Sorry I've been gone so long. Schools been...busy.

I'm back though. =D

I don't really have a good sense of fashion, but I do agree with you about it. I'm mostly a jeans and tee kind of girl.

I love the book shelf thing you have on the side of your blog. :)I'll have to get one for mine.

wait...everyone here doesn't care about fashion?! why does it seem like every teen in the world is OBSESSED with clothes? i'm funcuzed.

i hate people who look down on me for not wearing designer clothes. even if i DID have the money to but a $200 sweatshirt, i wouldn't. it's just wrong. there are people starving all over the world, and you're throwinga away money on something as stupid and shallow as that?!

hello everybody! sorry i haven't responded for a while, i am swamped with end of the year school stuff. well, i was. my school gets out tomorrow and i am sooo ready.

ali, yes that is exactly how i fell also. i pretty much just wear clothes. nothing fancy.

jin, modest is good. i don't think i own anything terribly unmodest (is that a word?!) i just usually go for something that's clean.

griffinrider, i'm completly clueless, too! i have no idea what's 'in fashion' i think the celebs are funny when they wear all of those designer clothes. and yes, it's pretty shallow. and i agree with the $200 dollar sweatshirt. what a waste. it's pretty much the same as a $20 dollar sweatshirt.

talk to you guys later.
have a swell day!

alannah, i generally just go for the jeans, too. much easier and they are so comfy.

Yeah we call it Maths.

Math.

Maths.

Math just sounds a bit incomplete. But that's probably just me.

Some people call it math but that's only because they're complete american wannabes. Weird eh?

I love the difference s between the two dialects. I think it's really interesting. Maybe that's just me.

maths.
i like it that way the best

maths doesn't make any sense. it's not a plural word. there aren't many "maths" there's just one "math." i'm american, through and through. though i love the brittish way of talking! crisps, biscuits, tea time... it makes me smile.

and i dress modestly, too. that's my rule.

ever see someone in jeans so tight it looks like she's about to burst out of them? it's DISGUSTING!
